Metaphor for Ambition

Created for the Material Movement Gala at Sadler’s Wells Theatre.

Part of a performance triptych, this object exists as the final phase, as a metaphor for ambition, which can only be achieved through positive self connection, symbolized by the performers entering the upward pointing shoe forms.

Materials: Handcrafted in leather and beechwood.
